PAUL TILLMAN| MEMORIES

Paul Tillman has a classic voice that really shines on his latest album, MEMORIES. His big voice is reminiscent of Hank Williams Jr. and Merle Haggard. On this album, Tillman tackles ten Country-Gospel songs, six of which he wrote himself. The album opens with a rocking song, "Call On The Master Of The Storm", that will make you want to tap y
our toes. "I'm Ready" is another positive up-tempo song on his album that is about being ready for the Lord to take him home. The ballad, "When Jesus Passed By" is another standout track on this album. Tillman also covers the song "Way Down Deep". His vocal really lends itself well to these types of up-tempo songs. The grovel in the low-end of his vocal is very unique and sets him apart from other Country-Gospel singers. The album ends with a song called "Memories" which is Tillman dedicates to his sister who has Alzheimer's disease. At the end of this song is a beautiful version of "Amazing Grace" which is a very good end to this album.
